BTS is a leading fire protection supplier to the Channel Islands. This includes fire sprinkler systems, passive fire protection, FIRAS approved pumps, pipe couplings & fittings and flow control valves. These products are used in residential, commercial, infrastructure and industrial applications to protect people and property.
We have made it a priority to partner with manufacturers who engineer residential & commercial fire protection systems that support The Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service, contractors, developers, facility and property managers and building owners.
Working in partnership with the Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service, BTS are also the only approved stockist and supplier of residential sprinkler systems to ensure that the supply of products to this hugely important industry is regulated and controlled.

Sprinkler systems are designed for life safety by providing occupants additional time to exit a structure in the event of a fire. The design of the systems must be carried out by British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association (BAFSA) & Fire Accreditation Scheme (FIRAS) certified companies for Residential systems and The Fire Protection Agency (FPA) for Commercial installations. The installation & maintenance of these systems can be carried out only by trained, competent and certified local domestic sprinkler engineers. .

As fire prevention is a crucial consideration for those who are responsible for the design, specification and construction of new and refurbished buildings, Fischer has developed a range of passive fire protection products. Exclusive to BTS, the Fischer FireStop range is fully certified to the European (EN) Standards & are designed to reduce the spread of fire, smoke and toxic gases, which greatly increase life safety of occupants and protection of property.

Fire pumps are typically listed by an approval institute and are powered either by an electric motor or a diesel engine or sometimes by a steam turbine. In a fire installation there can be one or more fire pumps put into operation as a duty assist (50 %) – and standby pumps.

Securely held at our warehouse, we are commited to only supplying FIRAS installers, ensuring only those trained have access to these sensitive products. We stock plastic glued systems but can also supply, fusion welded pre fabricated and steel crimped systems..

Exclusive to BTS, Aquatherm Red Pipe is specially formulated for fire protection systems in concealed light-hazard applications. For multipurpose systems, Aquatherm Green Pipe can be integrated with the potable water system to provide fire protection.
